Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and restrictions for in-person events, we are going 100% virtual. ATA2020 will come to you as a fully online event this summer. We believe this is the right decision for our community. Learn more about what that means to you as a participant.
Virtual Conference & Expo
ATA2020 will still happen, but virtually!!
Over the past several weeks, the coronavirus pandemic has overburdened our healthcare systems and providers, as well as other stakeholders in the telehealth ecosystem. This national health emergency is expected to continue for the unforeseen future, putting telehealth in the spotlight as a critical solution that is shaping our response to this pandemic and helping to ‘flatten the curve.’
+Why is ATA2020 moving to a virtual platform?
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we all live and work. As a result, virtual and hybrid events are becoming the new normal, as we find innovative ways to remain engaged, move our industry and our businesses forward, and support each other during these challenging times.
ATA2020 is a year in the making, and we strongly believe that it’s more important than ever for our industry to come together, to share experiences, explore the opportunities and overcome the challenges of telehealth in this new reality. We are excited to re-imagine our annual conference and have proactively created as a dynamic, interactive and virtual experience!
+ATA2020 will now be a virtual conference. What does this mean?
ATA2020 is moving to a virtual platform — an interactive online event that will bring together our industry’s stakeholders, thought leaders and decision makers in an engaging and interactive online experience. Originally scheduled for May 3-5 in Phoenix, AZ, ATA2020 will now take place as a virtual conference and expo, June 22-26. Our team has built a dynamic program for ATA2020, and we are excited to convene an all-star lineup of speakers, covering some of today’s most pressing topics and sharing real-world experience and learnings with attendees. Sessions will take place from remote locations via our web-streamed conference stage. Registered attendees will log in to the ATA2020 webstream to view sessions, participate in Q&A with speakers, engage with each other, and meet with exhibitors. Our robust online exhibit floor experience will allow exhibitors to demo their products, share videos and downloadable documents and hold one-on-one and group meetings with attendees.
+When will ATA2020 Virtual Conference take place?
With input from a number of ATA members, key sponsors and exhibitors, the ATA2020 virtual conference will take place June 22-26. This will help clinicians working on the front lines, solution providers, researchers and policy makers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic to participate in the conference.
+I am a registered attendee. Will I receive a refund for ATA2020?
We are offering a reduced registration fee for the virtual conference. For those who already registered to attend ATA2020 in Phoenix, your registration will be transferred to the ATA2020 virtual conference taking place June 22-26. In addition, the difference between the registration rates will be used as a credit toward our ATA2021 event.
+I booked a hotel room in Phoenix. How do I cancel my reservation?
If you booked accommodations through our room block, your reservation has or will be cancelled by Eventsphere, our event housing and management partner. There is no penalty or action needed at this time, and you will be receiving an email with an official reservation cancellation number. You do not need to contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. If you booked a local hotel outside of the official ATA room block, you will need to cancel that reservation directly.
+I am an exhibitor. Will I receive a refund?
We value the relationships we have with our exhibitors and sponsors, and are focused on creating a highly engaging and productive experience that will provide as close to a face-to-face experience as possible, support networking, foster partnerships and promote their companies and product offerings via a robust virtual platform. The virtual experience will offer unique opportunities to attract and interact with business contacts, prospects and potential collaborators. Sponsorship and exhibitor fees will be transferred to the virtual event. Our team understands the importance of our exhibitors’ investment in ATA2020 and will be working closely with each company to create valuable, online business opportunities and networking for each of our sponsors and exhibitors.
+What will the exhibitor experience look like?
We are working with a virtual conference vendor, as well as several experts in online/broadcast technologies to create a unique and high-quality exhibit floor experience that will allow exhibitors to demo their products, share videos and downloadable documents and hold one-on-one and group meetings with attendees. We are also creating new opportunities for sharing thought leadership content, information and resources with attendees and other key stakeholders. We will share more information on the virtual platform and its capabilities with exhibitors, demonstrating the value and opportunities available.
