News & Updates

ATA2020 will still happen, but virtually!

Over the past several weeks, the coronavirus pandemic has overburdened our healthcare systems and providers, as well as other stakeholders in the telehealth ecosystem. This national health emergency is expected to continue for the unforeseen future, putting telehealth in the spotlight as a critical solution that is shaping our response to this pandemic and helping to ‘flatten the curve.’ The ATA strongly believes that it’s more important than ever for our industry to come together, to share experiences, explore the opportunities and overcome the challenges of telehealth in this new reality. We are excited to re-imagine our annual conference and have proactively created as a dynamic, interactive and virtual experience!

From June 22-26, we’ll gather experts in telehealth and virtual care, and the decision-makers who are transforming care delivery and embedding telehealth solutions into the fabric of today’s healthcare services.

Over the course of five days, we will bring you keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive sessions from remote locations via our web-streamed conference stage. Attendees can also participate in Q&A with speakers, engage with each other and meet with exhibitors. Our robust online exhibit floor experience will allow exhibitors to demo their products, share videos and downloadable documents, and hold one-on-one and group meetings with attendees. Programming will highlight: Direct-to-Consumer care delivery, personalization and engagement strategies; the latest research and scientific findings; behavior change, prevention and chronic disease management; and design, UX data analytics, privacy and security, interoperability and emerging technologies. We are also adding sessions on the latest use cases, policy updates and learnings from the coronavirus pandemic. And if you aren’t able to join all sessions in real-time, you will have access to recordings at any time. More information and the complete schedule will be available shortly.

The time is now for telehealth. More and more healthcare providers are adopting virtual care strategies in their practices, telehealth solution providers are quickly ramping up and expanding their offerings to meet the growing demand for these technologies, and policy makers are working to ensure that legislation keeps pace with these advances. Join us at this critical time in our history.  #gotelehealth!

In the meantime, we launched the ATA COVID-19 Response Webinar Series, to bring you the latest updates and information, best practices and use cases on topics related to telehealth and COVID-19.
