WASHINGTON, DC, NOVEMBER 6, 2019 — ATA, the premier organization working to accelerate the adoption of telehealth, today announced that its ATA2020 Annual Conference and Expo will take place May 3-5 at the Phoenix Convention Center. This annual event will tackle adoption — where the market is headed, what it will take and how to accelerate the pace of telehealth adoption.

Moving at the Speed of Innovation

This year’s theme, Moving at the Speed of Innovation…. Accelerating Telehealth Adoption, focuses on the practical knowledge, strategic insights and partnerships needed to inspire and inform change. The program will showcase a mix of practical applications that will bring telehealth into practice today and hands-on workshops, mixed with luminary vision of what’s around the corner five years into the future.

Speakers will include those who are setting the tempo for disrupting healthcare, redesigning the patient experience and leveraging technology to improve health and wellness. Attendees will tackle the toughest challenges and learn how to design the right technologies, implement the best practices and improve patient and provider experiences and outcomes.

Call for Participation

ATA2020 will include workshops, sessions on best practices and practical applications of virtual care technologies, as well as forward-thinking ideas, innovative approaches to solving healthcare challenges and inspiring speakers. The program team is accepting nominations for two program tracks:

  • Speaker Nominations, General Program — This year’s program is curated by a select Advisory Committee and program team, but are interested in submissions on real-world applications, best practices and the practical insights and learnings that will help advance telehealth implementation; and nominations for forward-thinking, innovative speakers.
  • The Innovation Engine: Scientific Presentations and Poster Session Abstracts — This dedicated program track will focus on the data, evidence and case studies that are driving innovation and building the foundation that will reshape healthcare practices. Welcome submissions from clinicians, researchers and innovators who are moving ideas to implementation.

***** Submissions closed 12/13/19.
