Anne Posey

Anne Posey started with the Behavioral Health Center @ Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in November, 2017 and was promoted to the role of Regional Director of Behavioral Health in October, 2021.  Ms. Posey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and a Nationally Certified Counselor.  She has over twenty-five years’ experience in behavioral health care, having worked in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings.  She has a calling for ensuring that those consumers with behavioral health needs in the get the best possible care available. 

Ms.. Posey has been part of the executive leadership in several agencies that impact the adults and youth with behavioral health needs including psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, child welfare and juvenile justice systems.    Program development and innovation is a passion for Ms. Posey.  Championing and implementing tele-psychiatry across the Cleveland Clinic Florida region has allowed patients experiencing a behavioral health crisis to receive the quality care in a timely fashion.  This has resulted in more use of the psychiatry consult service as well as better patient outcomes and satisfaction.
