Theresa Morrison has been part of the Connected Health Group since 2017, a fully qualified nurse (since 2010) she achieved her Nursing Degree achieved at Queens University Belfast, has a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Dementia Studies from University of Ulster, became qualified trainer 2018.
Theresa oversees Connected Academy, the dedicated training division of the Connected Health Group. the Connected Academy is an accredited training centre with well-established links to Colleges. Providing education and training to all qualified and non-qualified healthcare staff, the Academy is a centre of excellence, with the main focus of developing the care workforce to meet the increasing demands of health and social care. The Academy upskills and empowers students by providing a range of courses from Level 1 Endorsed courses to Level 3 and Level 5 Diploma.
In Connected Health Theresa oversees the management of all clinical services and specialist projects including enhanced, complex care in the community and hospital setting. Theresa has worked with a wide range of clients, paediatric, adult and older adult with a vast range of diagnoses, complex needs, life-limiting conditions. She has experience in supporting patients and families both in hospital and in the community. Coordinating services, support education and help with health care needs as well as the social and emotional aspects of receiving healthcare.
Theresa has a demonstrated history of working in the community, hospital & health care industry. Skilled in Non-profit Organisations, Home Care, Social Services, Customer Service, Crisis Intervention, and Case Management. She is a strong healthcare services professional.
