Renu Joshi

Dr Renu Joshi finished her MBBS degree from King George medical college India and moved to USA in 1985 . She finished her residency in Internal medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology at Hershey medical center.
She started her journey at  UPMC Pinnacle in 2001 and has become the chief of endocrinology and currently serve as Vice president of Chronic disease management population Health.

During her journey she has focused her primary refforts on  improving  glycemic control in Diabetic patients both in the Hospital and outpatient settings .Through her efforts Pinnacle obtained the Joint commission certification for center of excellence for Diabetes  in 2007 .She has published many papers on diabetes care improvement through Team work  and helped start the  virtual care program during the COVID 19 Pandemic

She has won “best physician” and “Clinical leader” award several times and “Healer of the year” award form Harrisburg Magazine in 2014 and Women of excellence award from YWCA in 2018 .
