Poria Dorali

Poria Dorali is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston. He specializes in medical decision making with his advisor Dr. Taewoo Lee. Specifically, Poria’s main work focuses on the screening decision process for patients with Diabetic Retinopathy. Poria has worked very closely with the Harris Health System on projects such as simulation analysis to minimize EC psychiatric patient wait time at Ben Taub Hospital, predictive analytics approaches to cardiology patients and visualizations of EC cases and patients.
