Maria Harrison

Maria Harrison is a business leader with more than 30-years of experience in drug and device development, spanning both pharma and CRO sides of the industry. Currently, Ms. Harrison serves as  Senior Vice President globally responsible for Decentralized Clinical Trials, Patient Engagement and the Real World Solutions divisions of PRA. She holds overall responsibility for the strategic planning and operational execution of all hybrid, decentralized studies, as well as all peri- and post-approval research studies, conducted by PRA.  

Maria has been a leader in the real world research  and DCT space,  where she provides strategic consultation to clients on how best to structure their research designs to optimize the collection and integration of primary and secondary data using innovative methods. She believes in bringing creative, fit-for-purpose operational strategies with the end-goal of supporting accessible, streamlined clinical research that prioritizes patients first. Maria earned a Bachelor of Biochemistry degree from Nazareth College.
