Dave Ryan

Dave is on a mission to digitally empower healthcare to make precision care a reality for all people.  He leverages decades of technology and corporate leadership spanning >60 countries to help companies expand what’s possible with life sciences instruments, medical equipment, clinical systems, compute appliances and devices.  He advises on the use of advanced technology by research cente rs, hospitals, clinics, residential care settings and the home. As the former global head of Intel’s Health & Life Sciences business unit, Dave led creation of unprecedented business growth and industry leadership, and its global health sector response to the pandemic.

Dave is an outspoken advocate worldwide on the transformative power of telehealth and the challenges and opportunities in an aging world.  He has served on the boards of Consumer Technology Association Health & Fitness Division, HIMSS’ Personal Connected Health Alliance, the Global Coalition on Aging, the Alliance for Connected Care and the American Chamber of Commerce China Health Cooperative.  In addition to numerous industry forums, Dave is an influential speaker in policy realms including United Nations, OECD, APEC, G-20, USA Capitol Hill, Milken, IFA, IAGG, WSIS events and ministerial meetings across Asia & the EU.  His call for a new social contract across ages was published in the AARP International Journal. 

Dave holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, an M.B.A. from Pennsylvania State University, and is a Wharton Fellow.  He is a board member and former Chair for a worldwide non-profit dedicated to improving infant care ( www.RIE.org).  He is also President of the Board of Governors of a veteran’s historical preservation organization ( www.ECSAA.org).
