Adarsha Bajracharya
Dr Bajracharya is an assistant professor of medicine and population and quantitative health sciences at University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is a practicing physician board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics.
Dr. Bajracharya obtained his medical degree from Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Nepal and completed his residency training in internal medicine from Steward Carney Hospital in Boston, MA. He completed his fellowship training in clinical informatics from Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Dr Bajracharya is interested in optimizing use of information technology esp. telehealth to improve care delivery and evaluating its impact on patient-provider experience and health outcome. He has developed and published on applications for patients to provide their medical history through patient portal integrated with electronic health record. More recently he led virtual post discharge follow up program for COVID 19 patients and leads the virtual Companionship Wellness Program for patients at risk of loneliness in the hospital.
