Hossam Mahmoud

Hossam Mahmoud is a Board-Certified psychiatrist, licensed in Illinois and Massachusetts. Since May 2017, he has been the medical director at Regroup. He has been President of the Illinois Psychiatric Society and Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association since May 2019. He earned his Medical Degree and Master of Public Health at the American University of Beirut in 2003 and 2004 respectively. He was a Medical Officer at the World Health Organization from 2004 to 2006, before completing his residency training at Northwestern University in Chicago in 2010. He holds an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
