Physician graduated from UNCuyo, specialised in Ophthalmology, MBA, MSc in Healthcare Management (SBS), and currently PhD candidate in Science and Technology, FCEN, UNCuyo. Fellow Class 2020 of the American Telemedicine Association College of Fellows. At Inst. Zaldivar, Manager of Medical Education and Development, in charge of the Telephthalmology Program, Member of the Executive Committee and Vice President of the BioEthics Committee. I am a Professor of the Diploma course in Telemedicine, UNCuyo; Professor of Telemedicine in the Bachelor of Health Administration, UDA; and Professor and Co Director of Postgraduate Specialization in Healthcare Management (ADEN International Business School, George Washington University BS). Co-Coordinator of ICT and Education of the Argentine Council of Ophthalmology. Member of the Editorial Board of Telemedicine and the Health Journal and of the Latin American Journal of Telehealth. Former Founder and Chair of the Latin American Chapter of the ATA, Founder of the Mendoza Telehealth Network; Former Chair of the ATA International Special Interest Group (GIS), former Consultant to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and Member of the eLAC Regional Mechanism; Former Coordinator of PAHO’s Public Health Innovation and Equity Project for Latin America and the Caribbean (eSAC). My experience focuses on the development of processes related to remote patient care and telementoring using synchronous systems for both patient care and education; also developed content for healthcare websites. I’ve been a national and international consultant in electronic health policies, as well as telemedicine and management of electronic health programs. I’ve written articles and text chapters; visiting lecturer at various events related to electronic health and telemedicine, and have received achievement awards from the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) for SIG and Chapter leadership.
