Brooke Ellison

Brooke Ellison, PhD is an Associate Professor at Stony Brook University. Dr. Ellison received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 2000, her Master Degree in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2004. After running for New York State Senate in 2006, Dr. Ellison completed her PhD in Sociology from Stony Brook University in 2012. A policy and ethics expert in stem cell research for over 15 years, Brooke has been committed to changing the perception of life-saving science. Brooke is an active consultant to “Tech-Giant” enterprises, and is an advocate for accessibility in innovation for under-served populations including those with disabilities.

Kimberly Noel, MD MPH is the Telehealth Director, Deputy Chief Medical Information Officer, Chief Quality Officer of PCMH Family Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Family, Population and Preventive Medicine and Biomedical Informatics at Stony Brook Medicine (SBM). Her main role is in providing Telehealth leadership for the institution, ranging from development of academic educational curriculums, clinical trial design and infrastructure development for clinical service launches (including Mobile Stroke, Tele-psychiatry, Tele-Neurology and Tele-Preventive Medicine). She holds degrees from Duke, George Washington and Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in Preventive Medicine.
