Anna Haghgooie

Anna Haghgooie is a Managing Director of the Blue Venture Fund and Sandbox Industries. The Blue Venture Fund is a unique collaboration between BCBS companies, BCBSA, and Sandbox. Sandbox is an
independent company that provides healthcare-related investment management exclusively for the Blue Venture Fund. Anna currently serves on the board of directors of ExactCare, Somatus, ZeOmega, Contessa, Axial Healthcare, Quilted Health, and SonarMD. Previously she served on the board of directors of naviHealth and Change Healthcare. Anna earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Anna is a Fellow in the Health Innovators Fellowship at the Aspen Institute and lives in Chicago, IL with her husband and two children.
