ATA2020 Statement on Coronavirus: March 11, 2020

As the situation regarding the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, the ATA is diligently monitoring the latest guidance and information from our government agencies and related health, public safety and transportation authorities. Please be assured that our outmost priority remains the health and safety of our members, attendees and the general public.

At this time, we are planning to move forward with our annual conference, ATA2020, as scheduled, and will update this page regularly, should public health circumstances change. We are basing decisions regarding our response to the coronavirus on guidance and policies from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Coronavirus Resources. We also encourage you to also stay engaged with us through our website and social media channels for the latest updates. And, as always, the ATA will continue to create opportunities for our community to collaborate, exchange knowledge and share best practices, in order to make virtual a reality.

No doubt, telehealth and virtual care are being seen as important solutions in the coronavirus pandemic, helping to improve access to care, speed diagnosis and treatment, and limit the risk of person-to-person spread of the virus. We continue to be inspired by the response of our ATA members and the global healthcare community, and honored to support your efforts.
